In November, we are facing some operational challenges at the seaports of Antwerp and Rotterdam, about which we would like to inform you. We will of course try to minimize disruptions and impacts on your shipments as much as possible, but please be aware of the following:
Storm Warning This Evening in Rotterdam, November 1, 2023
In Rotterdam, there is a warning for strong wind gusts with speeds of 50 to 64 km/h. This corresponds to a wind force of 6 to 7. Due to the weather conditions, the terminals may have to suspend operations in the next few hours.
We will continue to keep you informed and will endeavor to minimize the impact on your cargo.
Pre-announced strike in Antwerp from 10:00 PM on November 7, 2023, to 10:00 PM on November 9, 2023
In Belgium, the unions have declared a national strike from 10:00 PM on November 7, 2023, to 10:00 PM on November 9, 2022. According to current information, the strike will impact cargo handling operations. Impacts on other operations such as re-routing and customs clearance are also likely.
We are currently discussing with our partners how our trains will operate during these three days. We will keep you informed accordingly.
Pre-announced port closure in Rotterdam from 11/25/2023 to 11/27/2023
We would like to inform you that from November 25 to 27, the following restrictions will apply: A port closure in Rotterdam has been announced in advance. We will therefore remove our Saturday train from the schedule on November 25, 2023.

In Belgium, a national strike is called by the trade unions from November 7th, 10 p.m., to November 9th, 2022, 10 p.m. According to current knowledge, the strike will affect handling work. It is also likely to have an impact on other work such as transshipments or customs activities.
We are currently clarifying with our partners how our trains will operate during these three days. We are keeping you informed about all developments.
Pre-announced port closure in Rotterdam from 11/25/2023 – 11/27/2023
We would like to inform you that a port closure in Rotterdam has been pre-announced from 25.11. – 27.11. We will therefore remove our Saturday train of November 25th, 2023 from the timetable accordingly.
